The Ole Barn Restaurant

The Ole Barn Restaurant is across the road from the original location were the cantilever barn was built in the 1830.Logs were numbered as they were took down and almost 90% of the originals were used when building the barn on the new site. The restaurant building uses recycled logs from the original barn. Cantilever barns are unique to the East Tennessee mountain area. Some of the logs in this barn can be dated back to the 1700s.

The Ole Barn Restaurant is a family style cookery. While eating at the Ole Barn Restaurant you will enjoy:

Ayers Family Farm

The Ayers Family Farm was established in 1966 by Wayne and Joan Ayers. The Ayers farm has grown into the largest Christmas Tree farm in the state of Tennessee. In 1993, Wayne was selected to provide the White House Christmas Tree.

Today, Wayne and his two sons, John and Steve, farm over 250 acres of Christmas trees in Tennessee and North Carolina, consisting of over 300,00 Trees.
